Minute particles in air when inhaled its trapped in mucus +nasal hair coating of nasal chamber. but sometimes these particles in inhaled air goes further deep in to nasal conchae where mucus coating is thin. so this particle irritates nasal lining. Sinus nerves are stimulated and sneeze reflex is activated. So this reflex continues to act thus we sneeze till the particle goes out.
