Answer:

Answer is 7

Step-by-step explanation:

Tap A fills the tank in 12 hrs

tap A fills the tank in 1hour 1/12 of the tank

tapB fills the tank in 1 hour 1/15 and tap C fills the tank in 1hrs 1/20 of the tank .

in two hours 1/12+1/12+1/15+1/20 of the tank filled by A B C tap

=(5+5+4+3)/60=17/60

in 6 hrs 3×(17/60) =51/60 of the tank will be filled .

remaining (1–51/60)=9/60 of the tank .

now A and B tap is running to fill the rest 9/60 of the tank .

1/12+1/15 =(5+4)/60=9/60 of the tank is filling by A and B in 1hour

so rest will filled up by A and B in 1 hour

total tank will be filled in (6+1)hour =7 hour
