Answer:

Hamara pakka Sandesh plastic Mukt Uttar Pradesh

The voice against plastic pollution is rising everywhere; many advanced countries in the world have banned plastic use. India also has the responsibility of getting rid of single use plastic menace. The consumption of plastics across the globe is quite staggering. It is estimated people worldwide are using approximately 500 billion single-use plastic bags per year.

The problem with most of the plastics is their toxicity, strength, and the ability to last long in all types of weather or climate conditions. Plastic bags would not be as dangerous if they would decompose on their own.

The governments of various nations, including our national Government have launched anti-plastic campaigns. Indian Government has also launched ban on single use plastic items, commencing from October 2, 2019, which is 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. We can make these campaigns successful by saying ‘NO TO PLASTIC’.

The Government of Uttar Pradesh has taken prompt initiative to ban single plastic use to make the state free of plastic pollution. The U.P. Government has banned plastic bags having thickness less than 50 microns. People violating the rule may be fine up to ₹ 1, 00,000 and get six months jail.

Police have also set up helpline numbers for people to inform about the violations. This strictness is going to help U.P. become a plastic free state.
