Hamid deposited 1/4 of his salary in a bank.then he spent 3000 and found that he was left with 7/12 of his salary.find his salary.

Let his salary be x
Money left after deposition = 3x/4
Then 3x/4 - 3000 = 7x/12
X = 18000
