Hamid has three boxes of different fruits box A weighs 5/2 kg more than box B and box C weighs 41/4 kg more than Box B. Total weight of the boxes is 48 whole 3 by 4. how many kg does box A weigh?

let weight of b = x

weight of a = x + (5/2)

weight of c = x+(41/4)

now

195/4 = x+ x+ x+ 5/2 + 41/4

195/4 - 51/4 = 3x

144/4= 3x

36=3x

x=12

weight of a = 12+5/2

=14.5
