Step-by-step explanation:

: (i) rain coat price =Rs 300,

VAT% = 10%

bill amount = 300 + 10% of 300

= 300 + 30

= Rs. 330

(ii) cost price of one pair of shoes = Rs 460

VAT% = 9%

Bill amount = 460+9% of 460

= 460 + 41.40

= Rs. 501.40

cost price of food articles = Rs 450,

VAT % = 5%

Bill amount= 450 + 5% of 450

= 450 + 22.5

=Rs. 472.50

(iv) cost price clothes = Rs 800,

VAT% = 1%

Bill amount= 800 + 1% of 800

= 800 + 8

= Rs. 808
