Answer:

- 750 N

Explanation:

Given :

Mass = 500 g or 0.5 kg

Initial velocity ( u ) = 15 m / sec

Final velocity will become zero i.e. 0 m / sec

Time  ( t ) = 0.01 sec

We have to find force :

We have ,

F = m a

a = v -u / t

a = - 15 / 0.01

a = - 1500

F = m a

F = 0.5 × - 1500

F = - 750 N

Since force is vector quantity negative sign show direction :

Hence we get answer.

Answer:-

F = -750N

Exlanation:-

Given:

  • m = 500gm = 0.5kg
  • u = 15 m/s
  • t = 0.01
  • v = 0

To Find:-

Force of nail on hammer

Solution:-

V = u + at

0 = 15 + a(0.01)

-a(0.01) = 15

\bold{a = -1500m{s}^{-2}}

Now,

F = ma

F = 0.5 × -1500

\bold{F= -750N}
