The Hammurabi was one of the sixth king of First Babylonian dynasty of the Amorite tribe, reigning from c. 1792 BC to c. And 1750 BC. He was preceded by his own father, Sin Muballit, who abdicated due to the failing health. During his reign, he conquered Elam and the city states of the Larsa, Eshnunna, and the Mari.
