Answer:

When my sibling was born.

So i was the only kid at home for 10 long years and always wanted a sibling to play with. When the other kids at school who had siblings used to tell me how they used to play at home, I would feel really jealous and lonely.

What do i do when i go home. Study, Watch TV, Eat, Sleep.

There was not much of playing as there were not many kids around in the neighbourhood. I used to pray to God to bless my mom with a son.

And yes i wanted a brother. Exclusively a boy. Sisters were a big no. Well I wanted to play cricket or WWE with him (yes we did play WWE since he learnt to walk. We’ve broken the bed at home playing. :p) and i cant do that with a sister.

So I was in fifth grade and my mom was in her last few weeks of pregnancy. One night she started to feel the pain and we admitted her in the hospital. It was around 11pm and I was sitting outside waiting. Praying. Please be a boy.

Well the doctors told it will be more time before the delivery and so I had to go home. Next day my father woke me up with the news.

Dad: “Son, You’re an elder brother now.”

Me: “Is it a boy or a girl?”

Dad: “A boy.”

Yippee….

I was literally jumping on the bed. Dad told me that mom had an operation so I can only meet her in the evening and i had to go to school before that.

Reluctantly, i go ready. I went to school with a box of chocolates for everyone.

My Teacher: “Is it your birthday today?”

Me: “No Miss. I’ve got a baby.”

My Teacher: “A what?”

Me: “Yes Miss. My mother gave birth to my brother.”

My Teacher: “Ohh! That’s great. Congratulations!”

I went about giving chocolates to all my friends and every teacher who came to class that day.

One heck of day.

Will Never Forget That Day in my life.

PS: It’s been 14 years and he had his birthday last week. Even though i’ve told him that i never wanted him born when we had fights I still miss the guy when he’s not around. He’s 10 years younger to me and we’ve had a lot of fun till now.

Thanks,

One day, a young man who had just flunked a major test of his, was one his way home from school. Miserable, he tried to bring his mood up but to no avail. He had tried listening to music or reading a book, but that didn’t help at all to stray his mind from the failure. That was until he was walking home. He had passed a woman who was wearing the same perfume that of his aunt, who had now passed. At this moment, many memories flooded back to him of the woman who had practically raised him; remembering how he helped her around the house, cooked with her, and played with her as a child. Now, the boy smiled and realized that those had been the happiest times of his life. Even though now she was gone, he thinks about her whenever his mood puts a damper on things.

Hope it helps you...Have a great day ahead...
