✒When an eye focusses on an object,it is called accommodation.

✒When an eye focusses on a nearby object,the ciliary muscles contract which releases tension on ligaments that suspend the eye.As a result,both lens surfaces become more curved and the eye is thus able to focus on a nearby object.
