♣️$\bold{Reason}$- according to hindu script, demon hirayankashyapa ordered his sister holika to burn his son prahlad in fire. prahlaad was a big vishnu devotee.In spite of various warnings from his dad Hiranyakashipu, Prahlad continued to offer prayers to Vishnu Ji. Holika had a boon of not getting burnt in the fire. Prahlad sat on a pyre in the lap of Holika and fire started. With the grace of Lord Vishnu, Holika burnt to death, while Prahlad survived. Since then, it’s a tradition to burn Holika every year to celebrate the victory of good over evil in this world. ♣️
