Republic day is celebrated on 26th January every year. This day is celebrated because, as our constitution was came into existence on this day in 1950. Our constitution was adopted on 26 November 1949.


As, our constitution was came into only on 26 January because, 17 years back our leaders declared Poorna Swaraj. According to it this came to existence. Our constitution is the largest constitution in the world. This was prepared by examining different countries constitution and the best one were adopted. So, to remember this constitution we celebrate Republic Day.
