Soap do not lather with hard water because the hard water contains too much of soluble salts of magnesium and calcium. ... But soap forms lather with soft water as they don't have soluble salts in them.

yes hard does not form miceles . bcz when soap is used in hrd water the soap frst makes water in a mineral water in tht only all the soap finishes
