Hey Dear!
________

Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809, in a small log cabin. Thomas Lincoln was his mother. He was born poor had no arrangement for education, and had to face hardships and many difficulties before he reached his childhood.

Nancy Hanes was his mother but she died when he was about 9 years old. Sarah Bush Johnston was his stepmother but she treated Lincoln very well. She tried to educate him . she also favoured him in his efforts. He stated with a clerk and later became a lawyer. His investment in business made him debt-ridden.

He also suffered many defeats in his political career as when trying for the state legislature and speaker. But ultimately he was elected as president in 1860 as 16th President of America and again reelected for the next term in 1864.

The girl whom he wanted to marry died jolting Lincoln to the edge of thinking to commit suicide. Later on, he did marry a lady but his two sons died in childhood.

It is also said that he suffered from clinical depression. But he was also known for eloquence, wit and humour which helped him overcome his depression.
