Why Hardware and Software are the basic elements of Multimedia can be explained very easily.
Multimedia basically is comprised of the two words multi and media.
Multi means many which everyone knows but here media refers to everything hardware and software.
For example printers, CDs, computers are all part of the whole multimedia space.
