The Bigger triangle ABC has sides as 300m and DEC has sides as 100m.

Area of equilateral triangle is 3√4a2, here a is the side of the triangle.So here a = 300So Area will be 3√4×300×300 =38971.14m234a2, here a is the side of the triangle.So here a = 300So Area will be 34×300×300 =38971.14m2

And the area of 100m triangle is root3/4 (100)2 =4330.12

So the ratio of both smaller to bigger triangle : 4330.12/38971.14 = 1/9 th

So he has given 1/9th part of his field .
