Principal (P) = Rs 450

Rate of Interest (R) = 6% per annum

Time (T) = 8 months = $\frac{8}{12} months$ = $\frac{2}{3} months$

To be found :-

Amount = S.I + Principal

So,

$S.I = \frac{Principal \times Time \times Rate \:of\: Ineterest }{100}$

$S.I = \frac{450 \times \frac{2}{3} \times 6}{100} \\ \\S.I = 18$

Now,

Amount = S.I + Principal

Amount = Rs 18 + Rs 450

Amount = Rs 468

Hence,

Hari returned Rs 468 to his friend
