Step-by-step explanation:

Amount spent in buying 20kg of rice20×Rs.36=Rs.720

Amount spent in buying 25kg of rice 25×Rs.32=Rs.800

Total amount spent CP=Rs.(720+800)=Rs.1520.

Total quantity of rice=(20+25)kg=45kg

SP=45×Rs.38=1710

Profit%=15001710−1500×100=12.5%

Gain=12.5%.
