its a simple question, don't get confused.

CP=30
Loss% = 5
Loss = 5% of CP
= 5/100 * CP
= 5/100 * 30
= 1.5

Loss = 1.5 Rs
CP = 30 Rs

so SP = CP - Loss
SP = 30 - 1.5
SP = 28.5 Rs

Hari sold the oranges at 28.5 Rs per dozen.
