Answer:160 Rs.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number of coins in the given ratio i.e. number of Rs. 1 coin be 6, that of Rs. 2 coin be 3 and that of Rs. 5 coin be 4.

Then total value :-

Rs. 1 coins (1×6) = 6 Rs.

Rs. 2 coins (2×3)= 6 Rs.

Total value of Rs. 1 and 2 coins is 6+6= 12 Rs.

Value of Rs. 5 coins (5×4) = 20 Rs.

So difference is 20-12= 8 Rs.

The difference given in question is 40 Rs. Which is 5 times of 8 Rs. So actual number of coins is 5 times.

Number of Rs. 1 coins =6×5=30

Number of Rs. 2 coins =3×5=15

Number of Rs. 5 coins =4×5=20

So total value in Rs. = (30×1)+(15×2)+(20×5) = 30+30+100 = 160 Rs.

And difference between total value of Rs. 1&2 coins with Rs. 5 coins = 100-(30+30) = Rs. 40 which is given in the question
