His ultimate aim from the beginning was to rob Anil. But Anil showed him huge compassion which made him hesitate. After few months or weeks, he decided to rob Anil and catch a train to Lucknow. But that compassion which Anil showed made him guilty and he returned back to Anil

Hari states ‘I was grateful’. Still, he decides to rob Anil. Why does he do so :
- Yes, Hari Singh was successful in stealing Anil.
- But Anil wasn't the only one who was burgled at that time.
- Hari had burgled himself as well.
- He'd lost the chance of entering education and being knowledgeable.
- He'd burgled Anil monetarily but he'd burgled himself of the chance for a better and brighter future, which was much more precious.
