HariPrasad's triangular field has 90 m, 80 m and 70 m.
How much barbed wire will he need for fencing the field if he uses 3 length of wire along each side? How much will he have to pay for the wire if it costs ₹50 per metre ?.

The lengths of three sides of triangular field are 90 m,80 m and 70 m

The Perimeter of the field =90 m+80 m+70 m=240 m

Length of wire required to cover the field once =240 m

It is given that the former uses six lengths of wire for each side, therefore 6 times the length of covering field once is required

⇒240×6=1440 m

cost of 1 meter of wire =Rs.50

cost of 1440 m=1440×50=

Rs.72,000
