Answer:

23400

Step-by-step explanation:

Simple Interest = P * R * T / 100

= 15000 * 16 * 7/2 * 100

= 8400 Ans

A = P + I

= 15000 + 8400

= 23400 ans

Answer:

in the question we are given that Harish has borrowed Rs.15000 from Ramu at 16% per annum for 3 years.

We have to find : interest and the amount paid by Harish to Ramu.

we know that ,

Interest = P X R X T/ 100  -------------------- (i)

where, P = principal amount  =  Rs.15000

           R = rate = 16 %

           T= time duration = 3 year

Substituting  values in (i)

interest = \frac{15000 \times 16 \times 3}{100}

            = 7200

now , total amount = principal amount + interest

                               = 15000 + 7200

                               =  22200

Therefore, Harish has to pay Rs.22,200 to  Ramu.
