Since this is simple interest, Harish would have to pay:

6% of 2500 + 10% of 1000 extra

= 150 + 100 = 250

Hence after two years he would have to pay 2750 Rupees.

Here is your answer.
P = Rs 2500
R = 3%
T = 2 years

SI = PRT/100
 =  \frac{2500 \times 3 \times 2}{100}  \\  = 150
Now
P = Rs 1000
R = 5%
T = 2 years

SI = PRT/100
 =  \frac{1000 \times 5 \times 2}{100}  \\  = 100
Therefore Harish paid after 2 years interest is
= 150 + 100
= Rs 250
