Answer:

-10

Step-by-step explanation:

In Mathematics we typically deal with the values inside the parenthesis separately.  Therefore in our example here 8-(5+2) let's deal with the parenthesis part first:

Step 1 : (5+2) =7

Step 2 : Now let's replace the (5+2) in the problem with the 7.

Step 3 : our 8-(5+2) becomes 8-(7)  and if we now remove the parenthesis we get 8-7 which equals 1.

Now as to the second part : 8-2+5

Here when we do the maths we get 8-2 (which gives 6) and if we add the 5

This gives us 6+5 = 11.

Finally if we take our first answer (1) and we subtract from it our second number (11)  we get

1-11 which gives us -10

-10 is our answer.

Hey mate!
Here's the solution.....⤵⤵⤵

⏩Harry's answer :-
-----------------------------
8-(2+5)
=8-7
=1....... (H)

⏩Terry's answer :-
-----------------------------
8-2+5
=13-2
=11.......(T)

Now,
H-T
=1-11
=-10

⏩Therefore the answer is -10⏪

I hope it helps you.....
