Answer:

Total money with Harry = Rs. 44

= 4400 paise

{ Since, Rs.1 = 100 paise }

Also,

It is given that, the number of 25 paise coins is twice the number of 50 paise coins.

Thus,

Let the number of 50 paise coins be x

And

The number of 25 paise coins be 2x

Thus, we have;

=> 50•x + 25•2x = 4400

=> 50x + 50x = 4400

=> 100x = 4400

=> x = 4400/100

=> x = 44

Hence,

The number of 50 paise coins is 44 and

the number of 25 paise coins is 244

ie ; 88.

Answer:

Total money with harry =Rs.44

Thus,

Let the number of 50 paise coins be x

And

the number of 25 paise coins be 2x

Thus we have ;

5o.x +25.2x = 4400

50x +50 x= 4400

100x=4400

x=4400/100

x=44

the number of 50 paise coins is 44
