Given :

The amount of money Harry owes from his father = $80

The amount of money Harry earn on Saturday = $45

Let The amount of money Harry earn on Sunday = $x

To Find :

Amount of money that Harry will need to earn on Saturday afternoon to have enough to pay his father back

Solution :

∵ Money that Harry owes from his father = $80

So,

Total amount of money Harry earn =  amount of money Harry earn on Saturday +  amount of money Harry earn on Sunday

                                                        = $45 + $x

And

Amount of money that Harry will need to earn on Saturday afternoon to have enough to pay his father back = Total amount of money Harry earn =  amount of money Harry owes from his father

i.e Total amount of money Harry earn =  amount of money Harry owes from his father

Or,    $45 + $x =  $80

Or,                x = $80 - $45

                       = $ 35

Hence, Amount of money that Harry will need to earn on Saturday afternoon to have enough to pay his father back is $ 35
