Harry wants to buy two pair of headphones for ruppes 75 each. If he signs up for the reward program at the store he gets a flat 10% off on each item he is purchasing. determine the percentage amount saved by Harry with respect to the normal price he would pay if no discounts were applied?

Solution :-

→ CP of one headphone without discount = Rs. 75

So,

→ CP of two headphones without discount = 75 * 2 = Rs. 150

now,

→ Discount gets on each headphone after reward = 10% of 75 = (75 * 10)/100 = Rs. 7.5

then,

→ Amount saved by harry = 7.5 * 2 = Rs. 15

therefore,

→ Required % = (15 * 100)/150 = 10% (Ans.)
