After independence in 1947, India had to suffer from several economic, social and political crisis. The people had to go through a lot of difficulties in order to overcome the disasters of the partition. This led to inequality in politics, society and economics, that goes on till date.
Hence, it can be said that justice has not been served in the true sense of the word in the Indian polity and society.
