With the increase of agriculture output and rapid industrialization, the Indian economy has changed too much extent, and the gap between the poor and the rich has diminished.

However, much more is needed to be done to minimize the gap and the government should give due impetus to uplift the economy of the poor.

Little has changed the economy of the poor as compared with the times of the Mughals.
