The Start-up India program has been successful in charting the path it had set out to fulfill:-

  • The start-up program was started by the government of India on 15th August 2015.
  • The motto of such an initiative was to encourage entrepreneurship in India given that India has an abundance of talented and skilled youth.
  • Unacademy, Udaan, CRED, upGrad, Razorpay, Meesho, Skyroot Aerospace, boAt et cetera are all start-ups founded in India.
  • There has been a huge growth of start-ups in India since 2015.
  • Given that India has a huge population of youth who are skilled and efficient, the startup boom has provided lakhs of jobs to youths.
  • India's start-up ecosystem is strengthening day by day and has no doubt fulfilled beyond expectations.

The other measures to capitalize on the potential of human resources in India:-

  • To capitalize on the potential of human resources in India, there needs to be the identification of employable skills and to deploy the skill sets to people.
  • There has to the identification of sectors which can captive a larger number of consumers, this will increase the number of jobs. For example:- Manufacturing, IT et cetera.
  • We have to make work more focussed and specific which will increase labor productivity.
  • We have to increase the digital competency of people because in today's scenario all work is dependent on technology.
