the formula for quadratic polynomial is

$x ^{2} - (\alpha + \beta )x+ \alpha \beta$

where alpha and beta are zeroes of the polynomial.

given,:

$\alpha + \beta = 0 \\ \alpha \beta = - 1$

the quadratic polynomial will be

$x ^{2} - (0)x + ( - 1) = 0 \\ x {}^{2} - 1 = 0$

the zeroes are +1,-1.

$\alpha + \beta = + 1 - 1 = 0 \\ \alpha \beta = (+ 1)( - 1) = - 1$
