Given:  5√3+2√7=7√10

To Find: if the equation is correct or false

Solution:

5√3 + 2√7 = 7√10 (evaluate)

Evaluating the equation we get:

∵5 × 1.732 + 2 × 2.645 = 7 × 3.1622

∵8.66 + 5.29 = 22.135  (adding)

we get 13.95 = 22135 , which are not equal

∴ 13.95 ≠ 22135 or 5√3 + 2√7 ≠ 7√10

The approximate value of 5√3 + 2√7 = 13.95 and the approximate value of  7√10 = 22.135, meaning the equation 5√3 + 2√7 ≠ 7√10

so, the equality is FALSE
