Let the died goldfish=x 70%=x/(x+60)*100 = 70x+4200=100x =4200=30x Or x=4200/30=140 Goldfishes lost=140 So Numbers of Gold fish orinally were= 60+140=200

Answer:

The answer is 200

Step-by-step explanation:

70% of the fish died , so 30% of the fish survived which is 60

so:

30%                                = 60

100%(original amount)  = ???

you just calculate it by cross multiplication

so 100% multiplied by 60 then the answer divided by 30% you get 200

easy , fast and smart

your welcome :)
