The inner walls of the stomach secrete the digestive juices from the gastric glands.These gastric glands are present in the walls of the stomach.They release hydrochloric acid which helps maintain the pH of the stomach and helps in the digestion of the food, a protein digesting enzyme called pepsin and mucus to protect the inner lining of the stomach from the acid.
