The hour hand will reach 5 at 5 : 0
The divisions a hour hand covers in 60 minutes in a clock is 1.
Hence in 30 minutes , the hour hand hand will move 0.5 divisions
The minute hand is at 30 minutes .
Now the distance between minute and hour hand is 1 - 0.5 divisions
= 0 .5 divisions
Each division subtends an angle equal to = 360°/12
= 30°
So half division is = 30°/2 = 15°
The angle is hence 15°
