Your sister: Why do you grow vegetables in the kitchen garden when all the vegetables are easily available in the market?

You: Sister, I grow vegetables for two reasons. First is it is my hobby; second is for health purpose.

Your sister: How are vegetables grown at home healthier?

You: These days vegetable-sellers are doing unhealthy practices. For example, they are putting on chemical paints to make them look more attractive for higher sales; the agriculturists are also using chemicals to grow the vegetable in demand rapidly. This damages our health.

Your sister: That’s why our kitchen garden vegetables are tastier to eat. Now, I shall also be lending you helping hand.

You: Thanks sis.

Seeta - Hey Geeta! Did you see my kitchen balcony?

Geeta - Hey hi. What is it?

Seeta - You remember I bought those pots and started sowing the seeds? I was trying to grow a few plants here and they are already growing.

Geeta - Oh my God! Is it?

Seeta - Hmm isn't it amazing? It is so satisfying to see them grow.

Geeta - They look great! What are the plants that you grew?

Seeta - I grew a tomato plant, a green chilli plant, lemon plant, coriander plant, mint plant, curry leaf plant, and a few herbs like thyme, rosemary, and basil.

Geeta - Wow! That's amazing. So, are you going to use all these ingredients for our cooking?

Seeta - Of course, yes! I am more than glad to use the vegetables and herbs that I grew in our kitchen garden. Nothing is better than freshly plucked veggies right out of the garden.

Geeta - Hmm that's awesome! Let's plan on growing some more plants on the terrace and the backyard. Let's do it this weekend.

Seeta - Sounds great! Let's do it.

Basa99018: Thanks
