Square of Number always ends with 1,4,5,6,9 and 00.

B can be 1,4,5,6, 9 only here . since B , E,M , P are distinct.

(4E)^2 = results in 4- digit number . so  B = 1 ;

(1E)^2 = MP1 ;   if units digit of a square is 1 then the num shud end with 1 or 9 .since all are distinct E =9 .

=> (19)^2 = 361 ;  M=3
