I happened to visit our grandparent's house during this summer vacation. I had an interesting conversation with them this time about the changes in our lifestyles over the past few decades. They told many amazing things about the way they lived during their youths. They had no gadgets as we do now and there were very little means of transportation. They used letters and telegrams to communicate with their friends and relatives. It would take days to convey messages to our loved ones and days to travel from one place to another. They lacked effective medications and cures for many diseases were unavailable. As time passed by, humans started inventing gadgets which made their life a lot easier and sophisticated. You can reach your friends and relatives just in the nick of time. A child born in this era is welcomed by all privileges. Though there have been so many advances in science and technology over the years which made our lives much easier, my grandparents still believe that life during their youth was much more enjoyable. Despite being advantageous, science has also been dangerous considering the fact it has increased pollution which in turn leads to harmful effects such as global warming, greenhouse effect, etc. Whatever may be the consequences, life has changed a lot over the past few decades either positively or negatively.
