Have anyone read Paulo Coelho's Alchemist? Pls...only those people answer
I've always seen the statement
"When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it"
But after reading the entire story, I felt so that these universal power is nothing but our inner thoughts!!!

Not inner thoughts. Universe is nothing but our illusions. "Time is just our stupid construction". Only thing that may be a truth, amongst our experiances is what makes you call 'I' when you point to yourself.
So, universal power is not inner construction, we are just a part of it. Its totally a cluster of whole humanity and circumstances they create by interfereing in some strange cycle on which process of universe depends
Well, novel seems to be a loose concoction of several ideas in to vessel of Andalusian shepherd culture. Storyline seems to be great, interpreting dream that he saw when resting on altar of church in decay, going around world based on omens, alas finding the treasure at the same spot where he start. And just several bits of romance here and there.
It dealt with Alchemy, one of controversial topics ever. Elixir of life and Philosophers stone, central theme of alchemy. None was succesful in discovering after years of efforts. Making it a central theme of novel seems much like mystical to me. I have several doubts regarding that, I could not clear it yet. Moreover, I dont believe in omens. Overall, it is a mystical tangible novel with some crisp of enthralling narration.
Try ZAHIR too. VERONIKA DECIDES TO DIE is also a good stuff(for me).
