Ofcourse, not just single time but many a times. I don't know what your concern is about but may parents have been quite supportive and encouraging me. I may list a few memories of mine,
- It was 1997 when my Papa bought a bicycle for me. I was quite scared if I could ride it. My Papa used push the bicycle from back and used to say I am here, go on. Suddenly I would look at my back, and I was riding on my own. I did fell off the bicycle a few times, but then it was alright.
- I had an operation for brain tumor in 2002. After the episode I became scared of traveling alone to the school or any other place. For this my parents helped out me by giving examples, 1 there are children for whom there is no one to care, 2 I cannot always stuck to my parents, at some stage of life I may be supposed to go abroad, 3 I should come to terms with the fear and am supposed to adopt a lifestyle for learning things and finding a way out.
- After passing 12th std. I applied for many courses like MBBS, Engineering etc. My mom used to say I won't let you stay out of home (for my health concerns). After selection in B.Tech Course my Papa asked to pack my stuff. I was worried for how would life go on without parents. But finally I got a strong motivation and since then I have travelled almost all states of North India (including some Central India States) all alone. I did my M.Tech from Himachal Pradesh, and did an I.T job in Chandigarh for about one year.
Hope this would help you find a way out for your worries and hurdles you are experiencing in life.
