Have it ever happened that you had set your heart on a goal, but could not achieve it?How did you feel about it?Did you learn anything from the experience

I don't set goals. To do so tends to distract me from the present moment. I'm more into following where life want's me to be and being fully there, I have certain things that I know will happen like a rugby game every Saturday, but I don't focus on that, to do so is distracting from preparing for it now, so I eat depending on feeling, I workout on feeling, last week I did tons of leg work, this week who knows what I will do, I'm feeling speed work is one, I will follow my instincts on what I am to do. It's a moment by moment way of being, there is plenty of joy, no hoping and wishing, no living in a fantasy or an illusion of the mind, where the thought of achieving a goal will somehow mean you are better or more successful. It's an illusion and the experience is fleeting, you get a temporary fix for a while, and then you feel unfulfilled again, and then you'll set another goal, and be unhappy or unsatisfied until you achieve. What a rollercoaster. Just drop future projections, life will show you the way if you are connected to it, and just focus on expressing full out or not, now. You will transcend the limits of the goal that your mind thinks you are capable of if you are present, and you will be fulfilled and alive and ready and willing to take opportunity if you stay there in the state of awareness.
