The equivalent occurred with me. I was discouraged about my examination. In any case, my mother said that "Don't feel discouraged in light of the fact that what you have realized you need to answer that". After that I played some portable amusements/ notes and listened to some music which changed my state of mind and my test went great. So don't make any wrong stride when discouraged. Simply feel revived and you will BOOM your coming day. You can feel relaxed by diverting your mind with other things.

In every individual's life there must be several times when they felt depressed or hopeless and so is in my life. Suddenly something or the other happens in your life and you become depressed and hopeless.
One of the incidence of my life when I became depressed and hopeless was during my preparation for competitive exam. I started studying maths and on a stretch I was able to solve 50 questions very fast. And while solving further, a question surprised me, I tried that question around 15-20 times but every time I came up with a wrong answer. With this I became very hopeless and my mood suddenly changed for the day.
