Find someone younger and thinner than your mum amongst your friends mums and start mentioning how it would be nice if she didn't waddle around with a roll of fat.

Give your mum fashion advice. She will really thank you for it.

Always tell your dad it is not really a problem, but it would be better if he was rich like one of your friend's dads. Ask him why he can't fix something round the house. (Bonus points if he attempts the job and screws it up and swears a lot).
