Okay, this question is the kind where you give advice on life lessons.

Let me give you my opinion on this subject, fellow teen.

It's common for adolescents, and even adults, to make wrong decisions at times, as well as act on impulse when they feel cornered or confused. We tend to respond accordingly, which is sometimes unnecessary and results in an escalation, which could potentially cause more harm than good. We've all faced circumstances wherein we've been the ones who've done something wrong and tend to blame others someway or another because well, we all have egos and self-esteem to contend with.

To put it simply, if you want to avoid this, stay calm when you feel like you want to react the most. Now this probably might sound a pretty easy solution, but trust me it's not. It's really hard to keep track of your emotions when you're blinded by guilt, rage, sadness, anxiety and many more. But keeping your calm in the nick of the moment will subdue the chances of further upsurge.

It's hard to implement anything for the first time, but whenever you end up in a messy situation such as the one you mentioned this is the thing that I tend to do myself. Though many at times, it's hard not react.

Hopefully, the paragraphs above did you justice and helped you.
