Large amount of industrialisation use water for generating hydroelectricity that too led to water scarcity

Yes ! We face a massive ! Shortage of water in your area. As you mention, only two reason behind the shortage of water as follows :-

➡1. Pollution :- pollution is a major reason for shortage of water. Water is pulled when industrials wastes are deposits into the water bodies , thus making it unfit for human being . Moreover , this water can't be used for drinking.

➡2. Overuse of Water :- when water is overused , it becomes a shortage of water. Some people use too much water espacially for irrigation purposes. It therefore , becomes inadequate for other equally important uses....i hope it helps you
