I guess everyone does have the same experience once in his lifetime. Mostly during your teenage. Like for once what I experienced was that I got into a bit verbal fight with my dad which eventually turned out to be something more serious and you for sure have to face it. But how you face it is what matters here. You should not lose your humour and act sensibly in situations.
