Explanation:

One such instance was when my friends started to argue where we will be hanging out. They had different ideas where we will go and they argued. They split into two groups and asked me which group was I going to join. I understand the situation but it was difficult to make up my mind as any of the groups which I didn't join will have a big misunderstanding with me. And also it was hard to make I don't wanna be hated by any of my friends.
