Answer:

Yes, I read Bhagavad-Gita.

Because I wanted to know the answers for the questions related to Life.

If I write my full understanding, that will be huge and laborious. If I write in brief:

Bhagavad Gita is manual for human life.

Benefits:

Gives us the Purpose and Goal of Life.

Gives knowledge of Soul, God, Karma, Time Factor, Nature.

You can find solutions for any kind of social, emotional, spiritual, mental, relationships and on many other issues of daily life.

Teaches you art of Mind management.

Strengthens your Intelligence, gives peace of mind and satisfaction of soul.

Uplifts your consciousness, so you see the world from a higher perspective.

Essence of all Vedic knowledge and philosophy of life is given.

It can be your best friend, guide on which you can depend in times of need.

I have  read it but my grandparents use to read it, once being curious I asked them why they read it so many times. They explained me in short.

Understanding Bhagvad Geeta needs years and constant reading. It's just like solving maths, the more you read more you understand. Same like maths, the more you solve the problems you understand various concepts of solving the problem.

Same goes with Geeta and all other Holy Books. It enlightens your path each time you read and understand something new..
