I have undertaken a journey by train. I went by a train, to see my hometown which is in Tanjore district, Chennai. I had a wonderful time travelling by train. I had great fun, interacting with my fellow passengers and sharing anecdotes with them. The scenery was beautiful, as the train was passing through green fields, rivers, lakes and mountains.
The breeze was very pleasant and the air smelled clean. The sound of the train going over the rails, was very soothing and mesmerizing. It felt like we were on a picnic except, that this was on a moving train, and not on land. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my travel. It was an enriching experience for me to travel by a train.
